The views expressed here are the author's own.This weekend Richards High School junior Natalie Brodsky will perform in "Shrek the Musical" -- the all-state musical sponsored by the Illinois Theatre Association -- at the Illinois High School Theatre Festival hosted by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.Natalie, a choir student at Richards, auditioned to earn selection to the 2023 all-state musical. She has rehearsed for this role since last summer.
