URBANA, Ill. (WAND) - The City of Urbana Public Works Department has approved a Special Event Permit Application from the United Pride Center of Champaign County for Pride Fest. On Saturday, September 30, portions of streets in the City of Urbana will be closed to accommodate the event. An event area and parade route map are listed HERE . Streets in Downtown Urbana will be closed from approximately 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. to accommodate a vendor fair and related activities. The street closures include Main Street from the Main Street/Springfield Avenue split to Broadway Avenue and Race Street from Elm Street to approximately one block north of Main Street.
